Creative Retreats

£0.00

Winter Warmer- SUN 1st FEB 2026
11am - 4.30pm
£20 - 50 PAY WHAT YOU CAN

In 2026 Charlotte will be hosting a series of low-cost one day creative retreats from her home in Brighton. They are designed as time and space for movement practice, creative dreaming, seasonal activities, eating and resting in the company of others.

Life can be full-on, and sometimes it is really important (and quite hard) to create space to slow down, nourish your body, your creativity and your well being.

If it’s cold outside we will get the woodburner lit; if it’s sunny we can take a walk in the afternoon. We can lean into wintery desires for hibernation and give ourselves a little boost to get us through the rest of the winter season.

Food: Charlotte will provide a simple vegetarian lunch of soup, bread and fruit. Tea and Coffee. Please bring any other snacks that you might like.

Where: The venue for these one day retreats is Charlotte’s home in Brighton (just north of Queen’s Park). Charlotte and her husband built their home from scratch over the past 5 years. It is made from wood, has plenty of natural light, always warm, has a spacious garden and views of the sea. Tucked away down a path, it is away from the street - a little secret sanctuary that feels like the perfect space for hosting.

Access: The house is step-free and wheelchair accessible. The path from the road to the house is a bit bumpy.

Parking: Free on street parking at weekends.

Travel: Charlotte’s house is on the No.18, No.2 and No.21 bus routes in Brighton. It is within walking distance of the city centre, the sea front and Kemptown.

Cost: We feel strongly that wellness should be accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy. We have tried to make the retreat as affordable as possible with a sliding scale of four price points £20 - £50. The price includes food and all materials. We are currently able to subsidise the cost of the days to keep the price low.
